Description

Research suggests that people who eat a small serving of cashews every day see a minor reduction in LDL “bad” cholesterol. In addition to lowering rates of LDL cholesterol, cashews may help to prevent heart disease due to their high magnesium content.

Cashews contain fat, but these are mostly unsaturated fats, which are healthful in moderate quantities. Truly raw cashews are not safe to eat, as they contain a substance known as urushiol, found in poison ivy. Urushiol is toxic, and contact with it can trigger a skin reaction in some people.

Stick to a 1 ounce serving (about ¼ cup) per day, Sassos recommends, and you’ll reap all of the nutritional benefits of cashews. JH are big sized splits (broken-2 pieces) Cashews Packed in Zip Sealed Pouches.
